The International Furniture Fair imm 2010 in Cologne came to a close in positive mood and with an air of cautious optimism. A steady number of visitors and a slight increase in the number of exhibitors were the backdrop to the year’s first international presentation of all the latest living trends.

Increased efforts in a changed world. Walter Knoll started the new year at imm cologne with a product development campaign. The company exhibited fourteen new products and extensions to the range at the International Furniture Fair – including a new sofa range for classic comfort, new sofas and armchairs for at home and at the office, ingenious occasional tables as well as minimalist tables and chairs. Architects, specialist dealers and interior designers were impressed with the range of innovations and the number of dealer orders was considerably higher than in the previous year.
