Futuristic sculpture in idyllic greenery: the builder of this – quite literally – outstanding villa in a vineyard on the outskirts of Stuttgart dared to implement the unusual. The detached house, designed by leading architect Ben van Berkel, looks like a greeting from the future. Flowing lines as well as structural projections and overhangs dominate the appearance of the extrovert building made of concrete and glass. The central design element inside is the swirling staircase. The living spaces appear light and spacious in their understated elegance with Jura marble and oiled oak.
